Not really that kind of raid. It just that it's already approx 2 months since we left the school, therefore a little drama doesn't kill a cat, right?

You realised that things had already changed a lot ever since we left school. Example:

First and foremost; College.

Life as a post-grad Form 5 whom seek for a greater aim in their life will continue their studies to achieve their dreams. College will be the choice for them but everything comes with their price.

There's INTI

KDU

and the infamous DISTED

Pricey yes, but every dream comes with a higher price. Just choose wisely people.

Next we have "Part-time job"

Job = Money not Parent = Money. Nothing is free in this world, so try to learn to be independent before it's too late. The real world is not the same when you are in those 4 walls of your classroom.

Can't find a job? Try Gurney Plaza. You will be surprise how many vacancy slot you can find! If you can't, it means that you are too lazy to find one.

Remember your Moral's nilai; 'Berdikari'

Last but not least, worst out of the worst, Rotting at home.

Staying at home, Facebooking... 24 hours a day, 7 days a week, 30 days a month. WOW.

This routine is almost predictable:

Wake up > Computer on > Facebook > Check Profile > Click home > Refresh x 100 > Close Computer.

Omg, I will die in this situation. So, find something to do! Hang out, get job or travel. SPM results in couple of month from now, better for you to enjoy before you regret.

Last but not least, for god sake, don't keep posting "FML" in your Facebook. There's worst compare to our life now. Just FIND YOUR SOLUTION of your PROBLEM!

I seriously haven step in this blog for almost 3 months already! Time to buckle up!
Anyway, any plan for holidays? I have suggestion here!

1. Prom

For those who bought the tickets before/on SPM, remember you have appointment for dinner at Gurney Hotel at 22nd of December!! Hopefully our dear committee members will give you a 'time of your life'.

2. Movie and more movies

Gurney Plaza's GSC, your one-stop entertainment for your favorite movies; Harry Potter, Narnia, Rapunzel, Tron, you name it! Hang out with friends would be nice too.

3. Part-time job

Teenagers like us love to spend! BUY this and that! but seriously, won't you feel guilty just by spending the money that aren't yours? Try to get a part-time job and you will taste the bitterness of your parent's hard-earn money.

4. Quality time/ Family time

Nothing last for eternity, therefore have some your quality time with your dearest family. You might hate your parent because they keep scolding you but why not take a day, or even a dinner together and just have fun. It will definitely change your relationship towards the positive area.

5. Exercise

Exercise! or else Facebook is killing your health! Get up and move, sports, gym, hiking, just go for it. Just keep it as a mini routine of yours and you will keep the doctor away.

7. Vacation

After a long battle, you deserved a time-out, pick a location and plan your vacation now! It does not need to be out-station, choose Malaysia would be enough! Langkawi, Cameron Highland, Pulau Perhentian, Frazer Hill, Mount Kinabalu. Interesting places, right?

Well, I had already suggested 7 ways, it's up to you to make your own choices now. Have some relaxation because I been hearing lots of people planning to go for college on January intake. It's good to be ambitious, just remember this, "It's a journey, not a race."

As today, the first day of the 8th month of the lunar calendar, we celebrate the Mid-Autumn Festival and it means Tang Lung!!

Furthermore, you could not miss the next item for this event, nice nice Moon Cake!

After a month of celebrating for the hungry ghost and all these 'kotai' loudly going around, it's time for a reunion with the dearest and enjoy the moon. Legend said the moon of the 8th month of the lunar calendar is the fullest moon among all other months.

However, as we live in Malaysia, we do celebrate other festival or event, which is the Hari Raya Aidilfitri where all the Muslim friends celebrate after fasting for a month on the Ramadhan month.

Threrfore, we like to wish everyone Happy Mooncake Festival and to all the Muslim, Selamat Hari Raya Aidilfitri!

Well, as you all know I'm quite a Starbucks fan, so if you are rich buy this!

At St Xavier’s Institution in George Town, some 1,700 students of sang patriotic songs and waved the Jalur Gemilang at their special morning assembly.

The teachers also joined the students in belting out songs like Tanggal 31 Ogos, Keranamu Malaysia and Jalur Gemilang.

It's finally over. After a month and a day of free newspaper specially for football, the production had finally stopped! Save the Earth! Go Green!

Well, no one cares about the Earth actually. Speaking of FiFa, I guess South Africa isn't that bad as I thought; they manage to keep the matches on go on smoothly until Spain won. Wait... I'm sorry Holland but it's had been a fact that they won!

After all the adrenaline going on during midnight, I can guess that most of the student are very active at night but when sun rises, 75% will fall asleep during class these few days due to the adaptation of 'burning the midnight oil' for football. It feels like a vampire!

Well at least I will remember this KK day for my life as this year will be the last year for some people to 'enjoy' this day. The admins would like to congrats all the winner especially the SXIMB as the overall champion as they won the marching and the cheers; second for the exhibition.

The pressure's on! It's time for Inter-class! Usually it happen during school hours for Form 1 till 4 but Form 5 gonna have their competition at after school! Buck up and show your talent!

Additionally, it's World Cup season, therefore for those footballer should know some technique played by your favourite team. So, show it to us and win for your class. This is the last year we are going to be here, make something that will be your memories when you grow old.

Since we had done this thing for 4 years already, please be sporting! Strictly no kiasu-ism and racial discrimination on the field! Those who does not obey rules shall be burnt.

A New Semester!

I do think most of the guys hate the day when school reopens, especially marks will be give out during the 1st day of a brand new semester. Imagine,

"H, this is your exam paper. I was hoping you will score for this exam. You disappointed me."

Then, when you reach home and show your parent your exam paper,

"I TOLD YOU TO STUDY MORE, NOW LOOK AT YOUR MARKS!!!"

Well, everything is possible. Good or bad, we had done our part of the examination, now left for the papers to come to YOU! Pray hard and embrace it. Furthermore, our main target is SPM, so this is like a pre-trial-trial SPM exam.

Anyone of you feel sad now? Why should you when the Mid-Term has FINALLY come to an end! We will miss you, exam but now, 2 weeks to rest! Gurney, camps, girlfriends, anything. Be happy and enjoy before we start the last semester studying for SPM!

There's a few things to be reminded for everyone.

For tomorrow 'Gotong-royong Perdana', we are supposed to wear the co-curriculum shirt but I also heard that unit uniform T-shirts are okay also, just I am not very sure about that. What kind of pants and shoes are we supposed to wear? Neither do I know since they didn't inform us about it. Wear anything =D
Exam timetable had released last Wednesday. Get it now and study hard!
Teacher Day's celebration will be held on the 4th of June. Have fun with your teachers and friends and buy something for a token of appreciation for your teachers.
Last but not least, leave the Form 6's girls alone! Stalking and keep watching them are bad for you! =P

Sports Day '10

The 100th years of SXI's Sports Day celebrated with, rain. Well, that doesn't mean it will stop them from fulling their desire of the century. Anyway, there are lot of ways to describe this event.

Point 1: The Disaster
Technically it was a disaster due to the wonderful time they choose for the event but eventually it became well due to the cool weather. As usual, non-participating students will stay up the grand stand and talk and talk and talk non-stop, criticising other house while the poor uniform units had to 'work'.

Point 2: The Unexpected
As we all love to watch the march pass from different houses, this year have something extra, uniform units! Something I would really wanted to comment about is the mascot. Barnitus has 'super-dragonman' and Director 'Rwar-yellow-tiger'? I just don't get it. Lastly, miraculous win by the James house which exceed the runner up by 52 marks. Marvelous!

Point 3: The F&B
Beverages: Milo was fine and the supplies for mineral water was plenty!
Food: ....no comment.

Therefore, CONGRATULATE James for the victory after quite some years! To everyone who help to run these event smoothly, thank you and wonderful job you had done and non-participating students, you had just set your foot on the 100th years of SXI's Sports Day!

Charity Week Big Crash

Well, everyone knows that Charity Week has been on for the past 1 week and we know the consequences of the massive 'pasar pagi'. For the past 1 week, I do think that the electricity bill will rise tremendously.

Due to the excessive usage of electricity, the school kept getting electricity break down. Well, usually it will be restored after a while but last Thursday, the Form 4 and 5's block had no electricity for the rest of the day. Therefore, the school decided to restrict student from making food that need to use the electricity in school. For those pizza bread and garlic bread makers, too bad.

The school allowed the students to clear their raw materials respectively on Friday and Monday. Students are recommended to bring their sales products from home, which means cold, dry food. Anyways, drinks won't be affected since water and electric doesn't mix.

Let's just move on, there's another 4 days of Charity Week before the Annual Canteen Day happens. So, good lucks to all and earn for the lost, the least and the last.

Annual Charity Drive & Canteen Day

Once again, the starter of our school event, the Charity Drive or Charity Week. Every year, we collect money for our school and also for the least. Therefore, this year, as we are here for the last time, try our best to collect as much as we can!

Solar Eclipse

Dear Xaverian,

On this Friday, the 15th of January, there will be a annular solar eclipse happening! Therefore, prepare because this phenomena doesn't occur so often. Well, the eclipse will be visible here between 3.15pm and 5.15pm. Therefore, watch out for the sky for these 2 hours because the eclipse, I mean the total eclipse duration might not be longer than 12 minutes.

KUALA LUMPUR, Jan 7 (Bernama) -- Malaysians will have the chance to observe again a partial solar eclipse known as the annular solar eclipse this Jan 15 between 3pm and 5.45pm.

The National Space Agency (Angkasa) said in a statement that members of the public could witness up to 40 per cent of the sun that would be obscured by the moon in the north of the peninsula in the evening.

"Langkawi would be the strategic location to observe the eclipse in Malaysia with 40 per cent of the sun obscured by the moon, while the coastal areas towards west would be an ideal location to witness the final eclipse during sunset," the agency said in the statement.

Tomorrow, we are going back to our study/student life but be happy, we are back to school as this year is our 'Senior' year, like High School Musical 3, just cut out the Musical part. Anyway, after a month and half of break, we definitely need to talk to our dear friends about the experiences you had during the holiday but first, have you pack your bag?

Well, there's nothing much to pack since we haven't got our textbooks, so pack our exercise books and pencil box. Oh, to everyone, long hair, long nails and etc, you know what to do right?

Rise and shine, today is a brand new decade for everyone! For these special year of 2010, which so called 'going-to-be-a-better-year', what do we Form 5 [not any longer Form 4] wishes for? A driving license for car or mere A's for SPM?

Old Town @ Farlim

It's the year end and we always hope that everything is/has improving. Therefore, even Farlim is improving and the proof is Old Town! Yes, Farlim has got Old Town for peoples in Air Itam. No more going to Times Square or New World Park for Old Town, we can get Old Town White Coffee at Farlim!

Well, the atmosphere is not bad and the surrounding is marvelous. You know why? If you are sick, there's a clinic opening soon on the opposite and if you are out of gas, there's 2 choices of petrol station for you to choose. How wonderful is it? The interior designs are quite comfortable and nice. I found out there is 1 quite catchy slot to hang out but I did not have the chance to take photo since there is people sitting there but if you are so curious, find it out yourself.

Are you thinking of "Oh, Old Town in Farlim? Are they searching for trouble?" Well, let me tell you, it's a few days they opened this store and the amount of customers are quite regular [Don't compare the customers with New World Park, choose other place to compare]. Furthermore, the population of people in Farlim are very big, you can count by the numbers of flats there.

So, hang out with your friends there for once and not spending large amount of cash in Gurney Plaza and maybe you will like the it?

I have no idea this exist but it seems like a fun event that held in Penang. Based on the poster on the left, this is an event which creates awareness for the children by calling all Penangites to join this world largest dance class. The Guinness World Record had already acknowledge this event and if it is an successful one, it will be in the Record!

Desperate Boardwives Chapter 6

Sorry to keep you guys waiting for Chapter 6, cos basically I was quite busy even though it was holiday (shopping spree) and basically, I think that this series won't last long. There are several reasons:

1. I am quite unmotivated. It's holiday and there's no juicy inspirations for the story.

2. The initial spark for the series has resided. What was at beginning a great rivalry between 2 members has been settled. ( Thanks to the effects of attending LTC =) )

3. I need a second writer. Yes, I know this is quite an unreasonable excuse but then I'm constantly away from home and need someone to assist me.

4. I originally planned for this series to have around 20 chapters. Seems quite impossible now.

That's only some of the reasons. But don't worry, by saying I won't continue the series means that there'll be a NEW series!!! And you don't think that this series is just ending like that right? I will give you guys a chance of voting at the end of this chapter!! And then I will end the series with a BANG!!! So just patiently bare with my constant blabbering for the monent and read on. Puan Nagashimi: What? Why's everyone so stunned? Did I froze you guys?

Chen: *whispers to Shane* You bet she did. She's a Gorgon, after all.

Shane: LOL ROFL!!!

Puan Nagashimi heard the whole whisper and was furious.

Puan Nagashimi: SHANE! CHEN! Step out now.

Ella: *thinking* Haha.. eng kai! eng kai!

Chen: Sh*t....

Both of them went out without much hesitation. They know that it is pointless to resist her.

Puan Nagashimi: Well well, look what we have here? A judge and a contestant. Gossiping about their advisor right in front of them. So courageous! And STUPID!!

And she gave Shane a quick and hard slap on the face. The impulse can be seen clearly, as Shane nearly fell from the slap. Everyone was shocked, even Ella. Nagashimi then turned her gaze towards Chen.

Puan Nagashimi: And you..What shall I do with you? Let's see..Well, I shall start....by NOMINATING YOU AS THE CHAIRMAN OF BREAK MONITORS!

These are the thoughts that ran through everyone's mind. Simply said, they were extremely shocked by that announcement. What is her true intention?

Chen: *thinking* It's unwise to walk into the trap, but it's suicidal to reject her...

*to Nagashimi* Fine, thank you for the nomination...

Puan Nagashimi: There, good boy *pat Chen's head* And there shall be double..nope, triple fortune! Dylan is also nominated for the post! And you too, Merkyl!

She knew too well about the student's affairs. She was well aware about who they supported and who will be voted. But what fun is there if she runs a nomination process like every year? So she decided. She will vote the nominees this year. She's purely evil, not to mention psychopathic.

Puan Nagashimi: So, how do you guys like the nominations? Very happy, I presume?

Ella: Miss Naga, this is extremely nonsencical!!! I reject...

Puan Nagashimi: Hush! Since you enjoy talking so much, you will be eliminated from the race to Lady Head Prefect!

Ella: This is bullsh*t!! I'm the only lady in BOD!

Puan Nagashimi: I am very well aware of that. I shall now declare a new rule! Anyone regardless of gender can be Lady Head Prefect as long as they behave like a lady! That's what you call a true LADY HEAD PREFECT!!!

Ella: You're NUTS!! I'm OUT OF HERE!!

Ella cried and stormed off. Is Nagashimi really insane?

Puan Nagashimi: You there! Raj! From now onwards you shall act like me, a true lady, for I nominate you as a Lady Head Prefect!!!

Raj: What nonsence?!?!?!

Puan Nagashimi: Now now, what's all the fuss about it? Unhappy? Go complain then. I'm not stoppin you.

Raj: ..........

She then proceeded to announce to the rest of the crowd.

Puan Nagashimi: Listen well. I am giving you guys 15 minutes to think of names. Think of potential chairman for each board and proceed to the Discipline Room after your decisions are made! Make your decisions wisely. Send one representatives from each boards and be right on time. That's all.

Puan Nagashimi left the scene. But she left with a huge impulse. She made several shocking announcements. And not a single one dare to stop her rage.

Kenny: Now, she left us with this mess. Someone has to be voted and someone has to go to the Discipline Room. Right. Let's start voting, everyone.

Who shall be voted? And who shall be the one representative? I am giving you guys the chance to voice your opinion! Go to the comments box and write down your opinions and reasons. Leadership Training Camp '09 Day 5

Day 5
Continued from 'party-all-night-long', participants were allowed to sleep till 8 morning. At last something that was different from other and no morning exercise! Our last breakfast of the camp was served and no complains from everyone since it was the last! Later it was time for everyone to get their MSN and numbers. Passing each others booklet for signature and telephone numbers.

Soon, it was prize giving ceremony, oh I mean LTC Glamour Award 2009. Congratulation to everyone that won prizes and Jeremiah Chee for Best Leader and awarded a crown you will never forget. For those who didn't win anything, at least you gained some friend in this camp, wouldn't that be winning something? Everything ended peacefully and we had to packed up and rush to the bus. Bye bye to Barre I.J., we will miss you.

Then, we went site-seeing at Cactus Valley, the teachers managed to persuade the manager for student price from RM 4 to RM 2! There were a lot of plants, flowers, tomatoes, strawberries and yes, cactus. However, some of the people bought strawberries to enjoy while other spend money on buying cactus.

Later, we went to Brinchang town for lunch. It seems like most of the participants went to KFC for their power lunch and to be honest, it was easy, fast and reasonable pricing. Later, we head up to Kea Farm to shop for strawberries and some vegetables. Souviners were avaiable here such as strawberry jems, Boh Tea and etc. The items were cheap but due to uncontrolable spending habits, most of the participants spend quite an amount of cash.

Then, it was time to head back to Penang. It was fun and I hope to come back here. We reached school around 6 evening and everyone was discharge back home to rest and sleep. Therefore, LTC 2009 was officially ended by that.

Leadership Training Camp '09 Day 4

Day 4
As usual it's 6 for everyone, 7 for calisthenic and 7.30 for breakfast. Normal morning routine for each of every camp. Breakfast was expected, lame. Moving on it was session 4! Mr. Varun was here again to teach us about values, the Leader's values. As a leader, what kind of values we must have? His activity once again, fun and exciting. After his session, everyone break for 15 minutes and continued for the last session of the camp, the Summary.

Mr. Varun packed all his session because he had to rush back to some where due to his packed schedule, poor guy, so young yet so busy. Never mind, his session was nice and everything summaries properly and very detail. Then, later it was lunch. Skip the comment and we moved on for the Amazing LTC Race: Grand Finale. However, it wasn't as tough as I thought. It was very light and much more like station games.

We had 4 stations, the Charays, Nona Isa, Longest yard and Nyeh Nyeh Bleh Bleh, I think? The Charays, as usual guessing without voice. Nona Isa was interpret from Mona Lisa, that means drawing ugly. You couldn't blame us because everyone had to draw one part while blind foled, interesting right? Longest yard was the game rule was very simple, make a longest line from whatever you had on your body. Thinking something? Next we had Nyeh Nyeh Bleh Bleh, I'm not sure about the game's name. Each member from each group had to crawl a triple figure 8 and came back, then the another team member had to drink Milo with egg in a baby bottle. It was freaking hard since the hole for the bottle was like needle like diameter.

However, everything ended perfectly and we had fun for it, claps for the game committee again! Washed up and this time, dinner wasn't served. What? No dinner? Oh, dinner was at own leisure. That's means we can go to the town! Yeah! Starbucks! Before we went out for dinner, Mr. Howell gave each of everyone RM 10 for dinner because of the profit the committee earned by the pizza breads. All hail the committee and Mr. Howell! 75% sponsored for Starbucks!

Everyone went to different places to eat, Chinese, Steamboat, Indian, Western and etc. Some of us went to this splendid restaurant named Rosedale Bistro and the service was terrible, too 'wonderful' to be comment. Frustration without food for the past an hour. Therefore, we asked Raymond Teoh and Vincent Hing to get us the Starbucks first. Java chips, Mocha and Caramel! We ended drinking Starbucks coffee before our dinner. Once the food were served, we ate it quickly and left ASAP!

We went back to the hostel, with Starbucks coffees and then it was revealing the Angel and Mortal. It was fun to guess your angel when you don't know about them. Then, everyone took a short rest while the committee preparing for the grand reflection of the camp. It was one of the best reflection I ever had. Then, we had sing-a-long session, happily and then it's lights out for the night. Although it was stated light's out but it seems like Hibiscus 3 was attracting people for party yet the party didn't last long. Some were sleeping while other writing affirmation for participants. This lasted the whole midnight and then it was Day 5.

Leadership Training Camp '09 Day 3

Day 3
Similar to Day 2, forced to wake up at 6 in the morning. Tired yet sleepy but excited because it was hiking day. Washed up and got changed. Everyone came down for calisthenic, a little bit intense due to the the hiking, lead by Michael. However, everyone did their best for the morning stretching because they did not want to receive legs cramp during the hiking. Later, it was breakfast. Once again, edible yet horrifying.

Then, it was the moment for everyone, time to get out from the freaking campsite, to the mountain! We assembled outside the campsite and we were introduced by a guider for the hiking event. Rules and regulations were taught and then, moved out! We went straight, left, straight, right, straight, right, long straight and right. Whatever, we reached the starting point for the hiking, it was a garden, I think. Then, it was easy to move until we reached a point everyone HATE the most. Imagine our shoes, nice and clean became muddy! Frustration before even reached the top.

Just let it go, everyone hiked as usual. Obstacles in front of us, we moved over it. Then, we heard some one singing, oh it was just Mr. Khor. Shouting, singing and then, our group 8 suddenly became louder and louder! Later, approximately after 45 minutes, we reached the point of the 'real' hiking part. What? After 45 minutes only you told us the hiking started now? Then, what the hell was the previous one? The hiking part became a bit tougher but it was just mild. An hour later, we reached the power station. It was almost the peak of the hill, the scenery was marverlous! Speechless, all these tough time of hiking paid off.

Everyone have their time taking pictures, resting and having some snacks. Then, we had to hike down the hill. Aww, just about to have fun and now have to hike down, sad. Nevermind, hiking down the same way that hiking up was freaking bored. Skip the hiking down part and now everyone reached the campsite. We had to wash our shoes outsite before entering the hostel. It was hard and muddy.

Then, everyone washed up and lunch was served. After the tiring hiking, we just eat as much as possible to regain energy lost during the hiking. Later, it was Mr. Varun's time again, Session 2! He taught us about 'Servant Leadership'. It was pretty interesting and we enjoyed it. After the session, it was Wet! Wet! Wet! Yes, wet games! According to everyone, it was the best games they had for the camp. I don't know because I was resting due to feverish. However, thumbs up for the games committee for the best games.

Nights falling and everyone went for baths. Dinner was served and I wouldn't comment any longer. Next, Mr. Varun again! This time, he taught us about communication. Why was communication so important? Everyone was very inspirited by his speech. After his session ended, it should be night games but since everyone was so tired, it was just a light reflection and then, again. Games committee and leaders, assistant leaders stay back while others returned to their respective dorm for rest.

Leadership Training Camp '09 Day 2

Day 2
As early as 6 morning, everyone had to wake up due to our security master's voice. Freezing breeze and slight light as if it's at night but suddenly massive light shone into everyone's eyes because Mr. Security switch on the light. "@%#$&", said someone. We had to brush our teeth and be prepared by 7. By 7, it's morning exercise. Although it's light but we hate it, no offense people but I never like morning exercise.

Later, we had our breakfast, a simple one yet the taste was crap. After breakfast, we had sketch again! Now the another 4 groups had their chances to perform! What I can say is the sketches were rated 16+ or 18+ PgX, parental guidance and slight obscene. However, they performed well and we cheer for it! Later, it's lunch, yummy yummy turns sour's lunch. Just eat it and don't complain, fill the stomach before you get gastric problem.

After lunch, we had the grande game of the camp, the Amazing LTC Race! Firstly, we had to solve some weird crossword puzzle and then it's either general knowledge or advanced sudoku. Next, we had to use legs to carry up cockles in the water to a plastic bag. Water during the weather in Cameron Highland was 'cool'. We had to peel the cockles, yes I meant all the cockles we had to use our legs to carry. Everyone's fingernails were either crack or flat. It wasn't that easy to peel the cockles as the smell was horrible.

After that, we had to do caligraphy by using a brush. Words were provided, lots of word. Further down, we had to cook the cockles we peel. Eggs, garlics, onions and oil were provided. Every group did a wonderful job cooking it. Then, they had to eat it! Later, we had to search a coin in a buckle of flour liquid. Participant had to draw and the year they got is the year of the coin they must find. So freaking hard!

Everything ended as night's coming soon. Participants were allowed to wash up and dinner was served on 7.30. Chit chating during dinner was unavoidable. Dinner was again, edible but bad. After dinner, we had the first session of the camp, conducted by the ex-Xaverian, Mr Varun. He told us about the history and life about La Salle, the founder of the Lasallian. It wasn't that bored as I thought, yet it was very interesting.

After his session, we had a light reflection, to reflect what we had for the day. Then, once again, committee and leaders, stay back while other's Sleep!

Leadership Training Camp '09 Day 1

Greetings and welcome to the St. Xavier's Leadership Training Camp 2009. I know that not everyone of the Form 4 is a member of BOD or BOL but it is the choice of me to share my experiences in the camp with you all. Without further delay, lets proceed to the main course of the day.

Day 1
Everything started at 6 o'clock in the morning. Everyone arriving slowly, one by one until 7 in the morning. Therefore, the committees were helping the teachers to move the stuff into the bus. Big boxes, small boxes, you name it. The participants were so freaking bored, therefore they went and crap around and took some early photos with their friends. After waiting for another 30 minutes, finally the buses were ready and peoples started to move in.

2 tour buses, nice and cozy buses but the atmosphere of the buses were totally weird. Some of them were sleeping and others were talking, non-stop talking. Everything went the 'same' until we reached the stop for breakfast. Suprisingly, the both of the tour buses were from thee same company but it seems like one of the bus was speeding or the other bus was horribly slow. Whatever, we still enjoyed our breakfast.

The journey continued after we had our 'teh tarik' breakfast. It lasted for another 3 hours, so what do think we were doing? By the way, the hill view we saw in the bus was spectacular! Foggy! Then, we had reached the campsite, the Barre I.J., Tanah Rata. The time was 1 o'clock in the afternoon, we had our lunch of the day. It was nice and edible. Later, it was the starter of the camp, Ice Breaking. Do we actually did the ice breaking as the usual "My name is A. Then, he is B and she is C"? Of course not! Our wonderful game masters, Mr. Eric and Mr. Patrick planned a spectacular ice breaking session.

The session was 'Ugly Truth' and 'Maintain the Balloon'. As the 'Ugly Truth', participants had to come out to the microphone and tell everyone their most humiliating truth and 'Maintain the Balloon', participants had to balance the balloon in the air, by different parts of the body. As the example, "Eric, finger!" Then Eric will shout,"Patrick, knee!!". It was very interesting session as everyone was having fun and knowing each other well.

Next, we had our team building session. Every member had to work together to find a piece of cloth and Pelaka or poster colour. Then, they had to 'design' their group logo. You wouldn't want to think about the 'art' they made. An art that you can't understand them. However, you can't blame them because they were only allowed to use their hands only.

Later, we had our washed up and a normal dinner. Around 8, we got 'spot-light' because it was sketch! Only 4 groups performed this night and everyone did their a good job done. Our good friend, Li Vern did a magnificent act for his sketch. For more information, ask him yourself. Everything ended by a reflection and then it's 11.30 night. Committee stayed back for Pow Wow and others went for their rest.

Woah! What a tiring day for 16 years old future-leader. Who do I mean? Of course the Celeverian! Whoever that went for the Leadership Training Camp for the past 5 days in Tanah Rata, Cameron Highland, you know who you are.

Therefore, enjoy the camp and beware for the camera. You might be spotted and pictures will be posted on here or Facebook. So, choose either you want Fame or Lame. Always look nice through out the camp, you might not know where is the camera.

Having stress from exam? Need to study? Wants streaming? Now who cares about that! All we want now is ENJOY because 'Final Year Examination' is finally over! Shall we celebrate? Gurney? Movie? Party? Anything, peoples.

However, we still have a final school event happening in our form, which is the Inter class games. Football and Volleyball, I wish everybody good luck and enjoy the friendly match, no kiasu-ism please. "Foul! Foul!" or "In! In!". Let the referee and judges do their job and you play your own game. Any disagreement? Oh ya, no cheating please. A fair match will do because you wouldn't want to see conflict happening when you are playing.

Last but not least, to all LTC participants, LTC is like 8 days left only. Therefore, prepare to enjoy and inhale the cool breeze of Cameron Highland.

Desperate Boardwives Chapter 5

Haha sorry to keep you guys waiting!! I was quite busy studying and camping and everything, but now with 1 hour of spare time I figured I better keep you guys entertained while I write a longer chapter. This chapter won't be that long, it acts like a prelude to the next long chapter, which will most likely be out on urm, the Monday after test =) Now, let us proceed to the story.

Chapter 5: Enter The Serpentine

Ella and Chen headed towards the logger, Kenny. Both of them were hoping deep in their heart, they will both get to be stationed at the corridor, as that's the place where they can really compete against each other in full view of the other.

Kenny: Well well, you guys are a little bit late, ya know.

Ella: *speaks sluttishly* Oh, I'm so sorry Kenny =( I was engaged in some, urm, unneccesary fight with a certain someone.

Chen: Enough bullshit, Ella. Kenny, can we both be placed at the corridor? We want something light today.

Kenny: Hah, I was about to give you two corridor duty. Since you asked for it, oh well. Both of you can stand opposite each other there. *pointing towards the scouts' room*

Ella and Chen headed to their duty spots. As they were walking, both fixed an cold gaze on the other, as if it says 'bring it on'. They stood there, looking strict and are prepared to catch any offenders immediately.

Ella: Hey Chen. See that guy over there. He's wearing baggy pants. You can do yourself a favour and ask him to tug wear it properly, after all, we all know that you're, uh hum...to guys... haha..

Chen: Well thanks *sarcasticly* Ella!

Ella: *Shocked and pissed at the same time* YES, Chen???

Chen: See that girl there? She's wearing a green bra. You know, girls are not supposed to wear coloured ones right? Since you treated me so nice, you can go and tell her about it, at the same time getting here contact number! Haha...

Ella:.....

20 minutes of duty passed swiftly. Albeit a bit silly and stupid to the other prefects, Chen and Ella went all out against each other. They both tried their best and caught every offenders they see. Chen caught the offenders fairly, not counting race, age, bla bla. Ella, on the other hand, asked her lackeys to purposely make offences for her to catch, allowing her to look good. Chen knew about this, but there's nothing he can do about it. After their duty ended, they met for their briefing.

Kenny: Well well, unusually we did quite a good job today! Chen caught 37 offenders, and Ella, you caught 41! Haha, not bad, not bad.

Ella: Thank you Kenn...

Kenny: Haha, not so fast. I heard that you guys were having some sort of challenge, right? Why why, so bad of you to not involve me as a judge, Ella!

Ella: *thinking to herself* Shit. How. did. he. know. about. it.

Kenny: Let's not waste any more time =) I'll start 1st. I have to say, both of you did equally good, but then....Someone did not play fair, did 'it'.

Chen and Ella: 'It'?

Kenny: Well, I can't say he or she right? It'll be so obvious. So I'll say 'it'. After all, 'it' should know who he or she is.

Ella: *thinking to herself again ==* Ouch..

Kenny: What about you, Dylan?

Dylan: I'll choose...

Raj: Haha.. We all know who you're gonna choose. Ella right? We can move to the next vote, please.

Dylan: Why you bast...

Kenny: Behave. Behave. Shane, your vote?

Shane: Based on my observations, (Which is totally fake as he was doing block check) I think Chen truly deserves it.

Kenny: Well, now it's Chen,2. Ella,1. Mika , your turn.

Chen: *in his thoughts* yes, Mika will definitely vote for me. Sweet sweet victory =)

Mika: I...I vote for Ella...

Chen: WHATT!!!!
Ella: Haha, talk about being kiasu. Can stand me beating you?

Shane: *thinking* What? Since when is Mika Ella's dog???

Kenny: Oooops, it's 2-2 now. I thought it will be 3-1, but then, talk about freedom of choice =p

Mika:....

Ella: Well, what now? There's no more judge?? Then there'll be no more winner! Kenny, I wanna choose a new judge. He's...

Kenny: Since when does the participant chooses the judge O.o I will choose, duh. I choose...

Before Kenny even have the chance to speak, a spine-chilling breeze blows in their direction. A cold grip was felt on Kenny's shoulder.

???: Allow me to choose, Kenny.

Kenny turned around, and was speechless. He did not expect HER to appear. After all, what's a teacher doing here?

Puan Nagashimi: Morning prefects.

Prefects: Good morning teacher.

Puan Nagashimi: I accidentally overheard your little conversations. My my, a competition. How interesting. I evaluated both of you. And guess who won?

Some: Ella??

Some: Chen!!

Puan Nagashimi: Well well, not quite. I will choose the winner of this competition. I choose.............................................ME!

Prefects: *gasp*

What does Puan Nagashimi mean by that? How did she knew about this little competition? And who is she, acting so prima-donaish? Is she on the side of Ella, Chen or neither? Find out in the next chapter, Chapter 6: The Beasts' Den.

KK Night 2009

Moment of truth. It's time to report about the annual event that the school organised. As you guys know all about KK night by the last post, I will skip the intro and forward to the important part. This year, KK night 2009 was organised by PKBM and for god sake, it never KRS. Why do 10 peoples come to me and asked me "Eh, I thought KRS organised KK night this year?". So, I just want to make sure that everyone is very clear about the organiser of the year.

Early part of the event
Next, I shall go on with the schedule. Everything begins at 7.00 pm, where people starts coming and register. To tell you the truth, those who didn't register also can come in because the security was horrible. If you want to compare with last year, they used sticker as a mark for those who had registed. Registration when quite smoothly until 7.30 pm. After that, everyone went in the hall and find place to settle down. After a few minutes, the event started.

The Brothers of the school were escorted in by the 'Kompang' group. Then, the emcees of the night were revealed. It was Mr. Jacob and Mr. Khalaf! The crowds were a bit crazy because each of every time Khalaf spoke, the crowds clap and make noises. Later, everyone is allowed to have their foods. This year's food was almost the same as last year but they are quite clever. Last year, we have to line up 1 long queue for the food but this year they made 2 side, the left and right for foods. Thumbs up for this part. After everyone took their foods, here comes the main course.

Middle part of the event
There are some performances and games by students. There are 'Boria' performance, wushu, indian dances, malay dances, our school band's angklung and of course, singing. The finalis of the SXI idol performed one by one. Speaking about performance, there is 1 special performance called "Pentomin" or "Petomin", some sort like a sketch but the voices were recorded previously. It was quite entertaining because other was 'ordinary' only. Comments/critics will come later. Now, continue with the events. Oh ya! Games, very interesting. Toilet papers and wrapped people into mummy, limbo dance and popping balloons? Not bad and not good.

Some of the crowds were quite bored, so they took a night walk along the school coridor. Slowly, slowly and the population in the hall became half. Don't worry, there are some heroes saved the night. It was Kaven(I don't know the spelling), one of the contestant for SXI idol. Performing Lady Gaga's songs, the combination song of Paparazzi, Love Game and Poker Face! Some of the bored audience returned to watch the performance. Very energetic and with the help of dances from some breakdance crew and of course, Raymond Teoh, the show was very nice. The heat didn't end here, it continued with Mr. Khalaf with his Malay cultural dance and later salsa dance! The costume for the dance was OMG! I will try to find my friends for the photo and show to you all later.

Right before the event end
It was almost 10.15pm, every single performances were showed and the moment of every single soul been waiting for, the prize giving. There were a few prizes to be given out. If I can remember, it's Best Noticeboard, SXI idol, Best Male Student Dresses, Best Female Student Dresses, Overall winner for Games and etc. Therefore, the winners were announced and later, the event was ended. Everyone went back to their respective home.

How was the event so far? Here comes my personal point of view about the KK night. The good things is there are enough performance and the schedule was perfectly smooth and even they end it earlier. The performers were supplied with Domino pizza each people. Very caring of them. The 2 ways food were the best idea of the night. So, the bad were security's horrible. Next was the performance. I know that SXI idol's song choice is personal but don't you think people will get bored if 4 songs were Malay song and only 1 English song? To think of it, there is only 1 Chinese performance(wushu), 1 Indian performance(Indian cultural dance) and tons of Malay performances(Pentomin, Malay cultural dances, boria, singing). Is this 1 Malaysia we are seeking for? I just wish that there would be more varieties of performances. The ugly was you can't maintain the crowds to stay. Do you know how many peoples were bored and went out for walking?

Therefore, the KK night 2009's report is done. I am looking forward for next year's KK night. I can tell that next year will be a better year. Comments and critics are by my professional views. Therefore, you may critic me back but I stay with my own point of perspective. Thank you.

Chapter 4: 4 Minutes To Save The World

Ella: Oh dear! What a big mess! And all that happened when I'm not here? Jeez, how much fun did I exactly miss?

Ella is like a mega-bitch. Everyone in the school doesn't like to mess with her. She complains about the slightest thing and she thinks of herself as a diva. After all, she is the discipline teacher's daughter, who dares to find fault with her?

Dylan: Right on time, Ella. This Pharell came out all of a sudden and started scolding me for no reasons.

Ella: Oh really? Is that true, Pharell?

Pharell: Ya right. Oh my gosh, how careless of me! I forgot that Dylan's like ur right-hand man! Sorry for making a fool out of him!!!

Dylan: You b... *Ella put her hand on Dylan's shoulder and interrupted*

Ella: It's ok. No harm playing with him for a while. After all, you librarians have always envied the superior BOD. You guys just couldn't stand the fact that you're inferior to us.

Chen: Don't you bring BOL into this conversation..

Pharell: Let her. I wanna see what she's got.

Ella: Now look who's talking! It's the leader of the rebellion! Wow, how nice of you, turning Merkyl from hero to zero.

Pharell: Now now, let's not put the blame on Chen. After all, Dylan is the one that went to Merkyl's place to discuss something with him just now.

Ella: Now you're putting the blame on dear Dylan? Now that's nasty of you. Oh well, what else can you expect from a fellow librarian?

Dylan: Yes, that's like totally true. Merkyl, let us hear what you think.

Everyone turned their head towards Merkyl. All this while when they were arguing, he was merely sitting there watching the show. He really didn't know what to do. Chen might have been his good friend, but what Dylan said sounds too real. Finally, he opened his mouth to voice his opinion.

Merkyl: I think... I think.... I agree with what Dylan said.. After all, Chen has been pretty cunning in front of me...

Everyone in the canteen is bewildered. They just couldn't believe that Merkyl is so easily influenced.

Pharell: Merkyl, how could you? You do know this is all a plot right?

Merkyl: ....

Chen: It's no use. He's been controlled by them. Let's go. No point staying here for nothing.

Ella: Wait, going so soon?

Chen: Leave us alone, bitch.

Ella: Well, never. Fine, I'll let you off. If...

Chen: Spill it out.
Ella: If you can win me in my duties later. And I mean win perfectly. It's just you and me, 1v1.

Mika: Oh come on. How childish can you ge....

Chen: Bring it on.

Shane: Don't do it Chen. Both you and I knows that it's an unfair game.

Ella: What? Trying to chicken out? Well, I can excuse you, since you're a baby.

Chen: I SAID BRING IT ON.

Ella: That's the spirit. Dylan, Mika and Shane will be the judges. After all, I want to win you fair and square.

Chen: Totally fine with me.

Ella: That's enough talking. Let's go to our duty posts. I now declare the start of the battle.

And with that said, the bell rings in an abnormal tone, as if it is foreshadowing an unavoidable crisis among the board members in the school. Everyone heads to their duty post, but with two special ones. One with the burning desire to win the other, one with the sadist mind to torture the other.

What will be the result of the showdown? Will Chen fall in the hands of Ella? And whose side will the judges be on? Stay tuned for the next chapter, Chapter 5: Enter the Serpentine.

Desperate Boardwives Chapter 3

Before I begin, I can't help it but to stress once again that this series is 70% fiction and the 30% is based on some real life encounters. So PLEASE do not simply guess who is who in the comment box, cos this will raise unneccesary problems with this blog. I mean, if you've been attending school for the past 10 months you can have a rough idea who is who. Haiz. Nuff said, let the Funhouse begin.

Chapter 3: Funhouse

It is 15 minutes before recess, and the board members are allowed to come out early. As usual, the board was never a single family. Within this Board Of Disciplinarians, chaos and trouble never rests. There isn't a single day where you wouldn't hear stories about the Board. The Board Of Prefects will always think that they are superior to the other boards, thus causing other boards' hostility towards them.

It is Merkyl's 1st day as a Prefect, and he doesn't want a bad duty on his 1st day. He sat at the usual table, the one where most Form 4's sit as if they own the table. Just as he put down his plate of rice, he heard a sudden maniacal laughter, one that sends chills down his spine. He immediately recognised that laughter. Only one person in the school is capable of making such eerie laughter, and it's non other than Pharell, a librarian. Pharell is not the type of person anyone wanna mess with, for hidden beneath his deceiving smile is a witty yet cunning personality.

Pharell: Oh, look who is it. It's our newly promoted Prefect, Merkyl!

Merkyl: Hi everyone!!

Pharell: Guys, don't you think that badge is a little too bright? Ooops, bitchy me.

Merkyl dare not retaliate, instead settling with a forceful smile. He takes a glance at everyone around the table and he saw the usual faces. There's Raj, a Break Monitor who is known for his notorious sucking-up. And there's Mika, a fellow prefect who is held in high regard by his friends. Next to him is Shane, his classmate who is a prefect and very hardworking as well. And last but not least, the one mentioned by Dylan, Chen.

Chen: Hey Merkyl!

Merkyl: *thinking to himself* I better not answer him. He's going to find fault with me for sure.

Chen: *feels ignored* Hellooo Merkyl??

Merkyl: Hey...Hey..

Chen: *thinking to himself* Something is definitely wrong, he's unusually cold to me. Better ask him what's the matter.

Just as Chen was about to ask Merkyl what's the matter, Dylan interrupted.

Dylan: Hey Chen. Acting so fast already.

Chen: What? Acting what?

Dylan: Don't act dumb, Chen. Both you and I clearly knows what's your 'noble' intention.

Chen: I really don't understand what are you talking about!

Dylan: If you're a man, admit what you've done. I told Merkyl everything, so there's no way you can harm him now.

Chen: So it was you! Merkyl listen! I did not...

Merkyl: Shut up and let me finish my breakfast! Don't act all good in front of me.

Raj: Hey hey, stop fighting.

Dylan: This is our fight, stay out of it.

Raj: *stunned*

Mika: Hey hey. Let's not get all unfriendly here. We only have 4 more....

Dylan: I said STAY Out Of It!

Pharell: Stop.

Everyone suddenly stopped. They realised that they have unitentionally brought Pharell into the fight, and that's not good.

Pharell: Can't you guys just act maturely and finish your breakfast?

Dylan: Pharell, it's the same to you. Stay out...

Pharell: *Stands up and walks towards Dylan* Well well, if it isn't my dearest friend Dylan!

What's the whole commotion about? What's with this furious aura?

Chen: Pharell, they're blaming me for something I did not do!

Pharell: I know. Let me settle for you.

Pharell: Dylan, both of us knows very well who's the one behind everything. What's the need of you bringing this matter up suddenly? Auspicious date huh?

Mika: Yeah, out of all days, why today?

Dylan: *sweating* What..What do you mean? I did not influence Merkyl...

Pharell: Since when did anyone mentioned anything about Merkyl? Oh. 'Siapa yang makan cili, dialah yang rasa pedasnya.'

Dylan: You son-of-a-bitch!

Dylan rolled his palm into a fist, and is about to punch Pharell in the stomach when suddenly...

Ella: Hey, mind if I join in the fun?

Everyone: *stops and stares at Ella, Dylan stopped immediately*

Ella: My oh my. What's with the fist and all? Come, allow me to settle the misunderstanding here =)

Ella finally reaches the canteen just in time to see the commotion. What is so fearful about Ella that makes everyone stop in their tracks? Who is Pharell supporting actually? Will Merkyl ever escape the big trap he is in right now? Up next, Chapter 4: 4 Minutes to Save The World.

B: Urm you sure? I mean, isn't it better to stay and wait...

A:FINE. If you're too cowardly, I shall start the plan myself.

A stands up and head towards Merkyl, ignoring B's advice. Merkyl suddenly feel a warm grasp on him shoulder and turns his head towards that direction. It's non other than Dylan, his good friend and ex-BOBM colleague.

Merkyl: Hey Dylan. Anything I can help you with?

Dylan: Nah, just congratulating you on your promotion.

Merkyl: *shocked* But,but, how did you know that I...

Dylan: Look, I have something more important to tell you than this petty issue. Do you know that in the eyes of the teachers, you have the potential to be the Chairman of BOBM?

Merkyl: How did you know all these?

Dylan: Let's just say I have reliable sources. And guess what, a few BOP members are not happy with the attention you're getting. And the leader of that is non other than Chen.

Merkyl: WHAT? But I taught that Chen was the one that supported me to take the BOP interview..Oh my gosh, I'm so lost.

Dylan: That's his whole plan. He wanted you to come to BOP so that you will not get nominated for vice-chairman in BOBM. To further ensure his success in eliminating you, he purposely asked you to join BOP. This way, he will eliminate you from any posts.

In another class, a fellow prefect is talking to Ella, a power-crazed newly appointed prefect vying for the Lady Head Prefect post.

C: Let's see. Now that Dylan has controlled Merkyl, we will need to push you up for the post. My sought-after utopic board is within my grasp now.

Ella: But, don't you think that they will suspect something? I mean, I just joined BOP and I'm going for the top post?

C: Don't worry. I have too many tools in my control. Remember Ritchie? That dumb fool is still updating me with news through SMS everyday. Nothing will happen, relax.

Ella: *looks at watch* Oh lookie. It's 9.25 already. Let's go for duty now. The funhouse will start soon.

Oh no. It seems that Merkyl has listened to Dylan completely. Worst still, a new villain appears, ceodenamed C. And just how bitchy is this Ella? You guys can't do much now. Wait till Chapter 3: Funhouse to see what happens next.

On the 3rd and 4th of October, the school had organised a camp for all the uniform units. Each uniform units must sent 10 peoples to participate this so-called leadership training camp. We shall see the schedule of the camp then only we'll comment.

3rd of October, Saturday
Morning
Registration is on 8 o'clock morning and delay till 8.45 morning. Then we proceed to photography session which costs almost 30 minutes for 5 snaps of photo? Anyway, let's just proceed to the next event. Flag raising by the Scouts member and then it's breakfast. Nice food, as always but then it's time for cooking. 3 hours. Disaster. Don't ever imagine but product was quite impressive for everyone. Later, food tested by the teachers and there are some satisfying faces and suffering faces. Oh well, those foods have to be the lunch, so force to eat whatever we cooked.
Afternoon
It's time for session by a speaker, known as Mr. William. I can't really remember what he said but something about "If you don't do these 3C, then you will gained another 3C". Forget about those boring period, then here comes Mr. Emanuel. Speeches, talks and voices. Too tired to remember. Next, we have tea time. Food was marvelous. Then, erecting tent time. The campsite was rocky enough to erect a tent. Difficulties by everyone but then, everyone were asked to go to the field for games. Field, we have 3 types of games. Tie our legs with rope by pairs and reach the end to win, given 3 bricks and reach the end without falling down and use your mouth to grab the sweets in the pile of flour. How wonderful? Unfortunately, god decided to pour us with water, therefore the raining games session continued and ended.
Night
By the time back to the campsite, it's all flooded by rain water. Therefore, we can't sleep in the tent and we were provided classes to sleep in. Dinner came after washing up. Nothing to say about the food. Flag is lowered and the next session, Team Building. Before it begin, Mr. Emanuel taught us a song. Very catchy and quite nice. Then, the activities started till late night. Supper came last. Lights out.
Midnight
Every uniform unit have sentry duties, different shifts. Boring, dark, silences and sleepy.

4th of October, Sunday
Morning
Forced to wake up before 6 am because punctuality concerned by the teachers, therefore everyone was sleepy. During 6am, morning exercise conducted. From running to stretching to warming up to yoga? Morning inspection by the teachers. Next, breakfast. Then, flag raising again. Session again. Blah blah blah. Rest time, packing up and cleaning up. Morning tea time for everyone.
Afternoon
Cleaning up the site and changing to uniform after that. It's the time everyone's waiting for, closing ceremony! Each uniform units had to perform and I do think that the Band won the best performance. Then, prizes and certificates given out and then, flag is lowered for the last time. Dismissed.

How was the 2 days 1 night camp for you? My comments are just to harsh, therefore we shall see others comment. There are some who commented about this camp. Here goes:

Lasallian Day Of Prayers for Peace

Just yesterday, on the Speech Day, the members of Lasallian Day Of Prayers for Peace team, as know as the LDOPP team make their first move on the project. They created a donation raising for these poor children around the world, suffering and hoping for hands to hold them and help them. Therefore, peoples around the school were very kind and willingly to donate for these children.

The Lasallian Day of Prayers for Peace, or LDOPP, was initiated in Rome a couple of years ago by a group of Lasallian Youth.

The purpose of LDOPP is to be in solidarity through prayer with those who live in conflict, this being in line with our Lasallian spirituality of being one with the last, lost and the least.

This year marks the 3rd installment of LDOPP in Malaysia, and our theme for 2009 is 'The War on Children'. This brings our focus...[more]

Other than donation, there are going to be some events going on to help to raise awareness towards those children. Therefore, stay alert to your surrounding and support them, the children.

Hey guys =)

After a 2-year hiatus I'm back to writing short stories on our school life. Most of the stories are based on real life situations, but I will of course change the names to prevent people from finding fault with me in school. I think even after I change the names, you will still be able to know who it is, given the natural gift of 'kaypohness' among Xavierians. After all, 'siapa yang makan cili, dia yang rasa pedasnya'. Oh, if you think the story sucks, don't hesitate to comment on it, because I wrote this in 15 minutes, so alot of things may not be fully explained yet. Kk, enough talking, let the story begins.

Chapter 1: Involvement

It was another normal June morning at school. Well, normal as in nothing extraordinary happened. Merkyl , a newly-appointed prefect, was paying full attention in his Physics class. He never failed to secure a place in the Top 5 list in the school, and he was not just any ordinary nerd. He's smart, quite good-looking, quite athletic and quite famous in school. Not to say quite, perhaps REALLY famous in school. Not originally selected to be a prefect, he finally got the chance he deserved when a fellow prefect migrated to Zimbabwe. Some might say he was just a replacement, but to me, I think he totally deserves it. But was it a right choice at the first place, joining the notorious BOP?

Just as I was daydreaming and writing this entry, a knock could be heard on the door. Well well well, if it was non other than his best buddy from the next class, Eddie. He talked with Merkyl outside the class for around 2 minutes, and Merkyl's facial expressions can be seen changing from =) to =( . I wondered what speech was that, changing his expression. I asked him to come over to my table and tell me what happened. After that, Merkyl sat beside me and told me something.

"Board's election is nearing, and I've been short-listed to be a chairman".

At the same time, just a few tables back, two bespectacled students can be seen whispering to each other secretly, as if they were planning a diabolical plan. Who knows? Maybe they are...

A: I think Merkyl knew he got short-listed.

B: Yes, I think Eddie told him. What should we do now that he knows about it?

A: Well, it's not a big deal. I guess it'll be a 'friendly' competition then?

B: Curse that Eddie. Should we do something about him for that big mouth of his?

A: No, let him be. After all, everything is going well according to my plan...

What is the diabolical plan about? Who is A and B? What will they do to Eddie and Merkyl? Why is the election so important to all of them? Stay tuned for Chapter 2:Added Involvement.

Not students' job to control traffic

20th of September 2009, Sunday - This exclusive news is grabbed from The NST Online and guess what? It is related to our school, to be accurate, it's all about Board Of Traffic Warden. Without further details from me, why don't you read it out yourself?

GEORGE TOWN: Schools in the state are taking the effort to cut costs by deploying students to double up as traffic wardens. Although the effort is commendable, it is being done at the expense of the students' safety.

The students are not just risking their lives but are also jeopardising the safety of their fellow schoolmates and other road users. It is not known if these students have been trained to control traffic. To make matters worse, not all of the students on duty are provided with luminous vests. This has caused confusion among unsuspecting drivers as they could not differentiate the wardens from the students leaving the school premises or crossing the road.

One of the schools involved is SMK St Xavier.

The school's website indicated that among the duties of the board of traffic wardens is to control traffic and direct cars to their parking lots. They also have to ensure that traffic flows smoothly during peak hours. However, it did not touch on the safety of the students.

The school's Parent-Teacher Association vice-chairman Allan Cheah admitted that they did not have a full-time traffic warden. "For years we have been relying on the school's traffic warden board members to do the job." Cheah said the members' played an important role in minimising accidents and ensuring road safety.

A parent brought up the matter with the New Sunday Times recently when she almost knocked one student who was riding his motorcycle out from the school. She blamed the traffic wardens for not being attentive enough. The school's spokesman, when contacted, said the traffic wardens were only deployed to carry out their duties along Lebuh Muntri.

"We do not assign them to stop traffic along the main road as it is too busy and dangerous for them." State Education Department director Ibrahim Mohamed said he would check with the school to find out why they allowed students to perform the traffic warden's task.

Since New Straits Times is so interested about the safety of children nowadays, I shall not comment any further. There is only one stuff I wanted to say. Last assembly, Mr Cheng already mention about the Traffic Wardens' duties and he said that they are not going out from the school compound to do their duties anymore. So, I don't think that is going to jeopardise the students safety now.

Therefore, I wonder this news from NST are current news or maybe a bit outdated? No comment.
